This trend has been building up momentum over the last year and is set to continue into 2019. Constellations, stars and the Zodiac are not just for astronomists, especially when it comes to the home.

We are seeing prints and motifs on tableware, art and soft furnishings and it’s the type of trend you can have a little nod too with out going overboard.

Invest in a statement wallpaper like Mini Moderns ‘Star-ling’ design or accessorise a sofa with constellation design cushions.

Continuing our love of use of a Sharpie marker pen – we found an array of ideas from Ideas.com to get creative with patterns and wording on plates.

This would be great for Christmas place settings to use festive imagery as inspiration, words like ‘Noel’, ‘twinkle twinkle’ or other Christmassy wording or even personalise each plate for each place setting with a name or phrase…

Zara Home have some lovely glassware, including our favourites all at £1.99 each. Great size tumblers for water at the Christmas table…or so thing a little stronger!

home: favourite thing [ flooring ]

Zazous is home to a lot of great interiors products (including Acapulco chairs!!) but their flooring is where we most favour their collection.

Authentic heritage patterns, retro designs, traditional looks with modern twist, so many great patterns to choose from – their encaustic tiles and ceramic tiles are incredible but the vinyl tiles are really an absolute gem. Incredibly well priced for large scale flooring, superb pattern choices and the finish is perfect for safety, warmth and durability.

‘Give + Receive’ has been curated by Marina London and Appear Here, and brings together some beautiful homeware and lifestyle retail brands under one roof for almost a month long pop up shop.

Browsing the West Elm website this week for Christmas ideas we came across this lovely collection of items for the home. Their Pop Art print features across four products – coasters, plates, cushion and dining chair, and by chance they are all in sale.

This quirky retro print will look great in a minimal home, injecting a bit of colour and pattern.
