We are very excited about the NIKKI TIBBLES WILD AT HEART wreath making workshop at Libertys, London, where you can learn and make an incredible 12” floral wreath plus have some nibbles and a drop of prosecco to accompany your wreath making fun.

During the run up to Christmas, Liberty will be holding wreath-making classes in partnership with florists Wild at Heart, giving you a chance to brush up on your festive flower arranging skills. Armed with everything need, you’ll make a bespoke 12 inch wreath consisting of beautiful berries, pine, cinnamon sticks and much more – and enjoy some seasonal canapés and a glass of prosecco as you make.

Launched this week in Liberty department store, London is the exceptional Cissy Wears, with its kids pop-up store. Full of clothing, accessories, and toys for the little ones. This brand brings quality and style to kidswear with a fresh colour pallete of monochrome, greys and dusty pinks.  

Our favourites pieces include the must have Miffy lamp and Design Letters tableware and accessories.

For those who want the antithesis of monochrome interiors and prefer a richer more opulent look then using jewel tones for interiors can give a warm, rich, homely and welcoming feel to a home. 

A variety of jewel tones, including turquoise, teal, jade, ruby and burgundy can compliment each other and work well in a room together – but also varying shades of the same colour can be very effective and impactful. 


Currently other on-trend colours including navy and copper sit very well with this colour palette and act well to set off the rich tones. 

We love going bold with this trend and including floors, woodwork, furniture as well as soft furnishings all in the colour palette. Using high street brand Habitat paint is perfect as it works on both walls and wood to ensure matching colours throughout. And for fabrics opt for velvet, cord and satin to compliment the trend.

A massive trend at the moment is animal candle holders, everything from zoo animals to woodland creatures. We have looked at how you can create something just as fun but for a lot less money. 

There are two popular ways to create this look, and it basically comes down to size. You can either opt for a party candle [ great for kids birthdays ] or a larger table centre piece for a dinner party perhaps. Either way involves the same preparation and materials; the chosen animal [ for plastic zoo & farm assortments try amazon ], a drill and some paint [ They look great painted black, white or gold btw ].

On trend, on your high street and on your budget: these are the three things that are great to hear when shopping for all things interiors. 

Unexpectedly we stumble upon browsing Argos and find numerous lovable homewares and furniture that tick many boxes including amazing prices.

When we just focused on grey – our beloved colour of the year – we found many delights for the home (see picture) from lamps at only £24.99 to huge rugs at under £125! Argos have great brands under their belt, including Habitat, but their own designs are up there at the top with being cool and on trend.

We love how designs from the last century are as popular now as ever; and reproductions, official copies, modernised versions and inevitably scandalous rip-offs are everywhere, offering a range of prices to the consumer  who loves a particular style.
