We love a good chair and with mid century styling it can never fail to be a design statement in a room.

This ‘Carlo’ midcentury armchair from West Elm, in the olive fabric currently reduced from £599 to £479, is the perfect update to a lounge.

A lovely accompaniment to a similar style sofa, a nice pop of colour, a comfy stylish reading chair – invest in beautiful furniture for your home.

As we know pink isn’t going anywhere this year and especially the pastel shades. We spotted this chair at Abigail Ahern and love it.

An advocate of all things dark, Abigail Ahern is now bringing hints of a brighter colour pallete to her online and Islington stores.

This shade of pink will work with so many other colours, and look just as well in a bright white room as a dark grey one.

Definitely one of the strongest colours for the season. With a neutral yet warm feel, a nod to vintage and perfect as a highlight or accompaniment to many other colours, mustard is a great tone to introduce to an interior.

Mustard works well with olive, teak or walnut wood tones. It is a stand out tone to use in a mostly neutral and white interiors. We love it with other colours of the season – rust orange and olive green.
