Always keep your eyes open for great homeware and furniture in places you don’t expect.
Scrolling through Amazon we were delighted and surprised to find this gorgeous midcentury style desk for £169.00
Its a great size, lovely walnut veneer finish, perfect iconic midcentury clean lines and silhouette, and practical with good desk space and storage.
This product also comes with so many positive reviews. It always pays to read the feedback and reviews when buying furniture online.
Love this great little DIY from A Pair And A Spare to make handy (and on trend) little concrete desk organisers.
It’s a simple and straight forward tutorial and can be adapted for your needs – just change the size or shape of the moulds.

Head to themerrythought.com to be inspired to make this fab desk. Using an Ikea drawer unit as a base with the addition of a wooden table top and a pair of legs, you are good to go.
Obviously you will need to have some basic woodwork skills or at least know someone that has to complete this project, but it’s a great one.
We love the use of the drawer unit, it looks like it was meant to be part of the table and more expensive than it would actually be.

As we know pink isn’t going anywhere this year and especially the pastel shades. We spotted this chair at Abigail Ahern and love it.
An advocate of all things dark, Abigail Ahern is now bringing hints of a brighter colour pallete to her online and Islington stores.
This shade of pink will work with so many other colours, and look just as well in a bright white room as a dark grey one.

Marble is a beautiful material in the home. It’s also hard wearing and versatile. We love this desk from Maison Du Monde with a marble top in an acacia wood frame. The wood gives warmth and softens the coolness of marble.
The CAPPUCINO Desk showcases a Gatsby-style retro trend. Made from solid acacia, with a white marble top, it will create a welcoming, sophisticated ambiance. All your secrets will be protected by the two very discreet drawers. Resolutely timeless, this vintage desk features unique, more or less pronounced marble effects and is sure to charm you.
