Learn about riso-printing, mark-making and collage techniques
Take home 10 sheets of Riso printed wrapping paper of your own design
Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies included
The festive season is nearly upon us, and with it comes the unavoidable seasonal insanity; Christmas CDs on loop, bearded men inviting you to sit on their knee, unnecessary amounts of tinsel, and industrial presses methodically churning out packs of generic greetings cards. Not at Hato HQ. We’re encouraging you to get personal this yuletide with some creative wrapping paper making to share with your nearest and dearest. Using a mixture of collage and mark-making techniques, you will create 10 sheets of A3 wrapping paper, printed in 2 colours on our risograph printers.
home: trend [ stripes ]
Stripes are in and out of favour continually and currently we see them with both a natural feel in linens, natural colours and soft tones, but also in bolder starker contrasting tones that make a statement within an interior.

Not a pattern to clash with varying stripes on different homewares but great clashing with florals or bold block colour prints.

This wreath is totally high end, we use the best fragrant foliage and your door wreath will last well into the New Year (you have to spray it now and again of course) It is perfect to hang from your door at Christmas to welcome your family and guests.

home: trend [ Kilim rugs ]
By definition;
A kilim (Azerbaijani: Kilim کیلیم, Turkish: Kilim, Turkmen: Kilim, Persian: گلیم gelīm) is a flat tapestry-woven carpet or rug traditionally produced in countries of the former Persian Empire, Iran, Azerbaijan, the Balkans and the Turkic countries of Central Asia.
And they grace many a floor because their patterns, designs and colours are so adaptable to different interiors.
They are often very affordable compared to other types of rug so it’s in everyone’s reach to have beautiful statement rugs.
Newer styles have a modern take, a lot more geometric patterns, many bolder block colour layouts, more minimal designs; yet still the traditional patterned styles are still exceedingly popular and can be found across the highstreet and online.
