This gorgeous planter on stand from Made would make a great feature – piled high with greenery, plants trailing down its brass container, even a splash of colour with flowers would be beautiful. Definitely a statement piece and lovely way to have a little indoor garden. It would also work well to house an indoor herb array… find a sunny spot in the kitchen to have close at hand.

It also comes in pure black but on this occasion we think the black and brass is a beautiful mix and would perfectly set off the green leaves.

All you’ll need is paint and, if it’s not outdoor paint then a good fixer spray or varnish will ensure it lasts and holds up to the weather. You can get plain pots from garden centres, IKEA, or try online at Hobby Craft or Baker Ross for great prices.
