Not at Hato HQ. We’re encouraging you to get personal this yuletide with some creative wrapping paper making to share with  your nearest and dearest. Using a mixture of collage and mark-making techniques, you will create 10 sheets of A3 wrapping paper, printed in 2 colours on our risograph printers.

We discovered the amazing printing projects on Finnish photographer Kreetta’s blog Gretchen Gretchen, when browsing the Remodelista blog – and fell in love.

So creative and such simple printing ideas that are so very effective in creating beautiful modern print led patterns.

Create your own fabrics from her tutorials to in turn, make into table cloths, cushions, napkins, or even curtains – the ideas are endless.

Every so often we come across a truly beautiful diy project and this from We Are Scout is no exception.

To take such a simple idea of printing with leaves and fabric paint and produce such beautiful homeware is very clever

Follow their simple tutorial and get creative. This process will produce modern organic printed fabric – it could be used for a table cloth, curtains, cushions, tea towels – the options are endless.

It would also make a lovely design for a wrapping paper.

Not so long ago we talked about using blue in the home, and going into Autumn we are still talking about it.

This time the focus is on denim blue and much paler, washout examples.

This can be found on a lot of ceramics and furniture, with blue becoming more popular in glassware too as an alternative to smoked grey or Amber, which we have seen a lot of in recent years.

Be Bold with a blue sofa or armchair. or tone it down by just using some cushions to accessorise.

A bright and airy space lends itself to denim blue, but if your room is darker then go for a more rich royal or navy blue.

Back for a second year, Print Club London presents an exhibition of its favourites artists and their works in order to support Help Refugees.

Artists have taken the iconic ‘Choose Love’ slogan, originally created by Katherine Hamnet in the 1980s and each created a one off piece.

‘It has so far raised over £50,000 for the charity and seen artists such as Sir Anish Kapoor, Alexa Coe, Stanley Donwood, Mustafa Halusi and Noel Fielding contributing artworks to the project. Each piece is available to buy throughout the exhibition, and then later via Print Club London’s online gallery‘
