At the end of the month Deterra London will be popping up at West Elm on Tottenham Court Road, London.

Their pop up shop will be there 27-28 July.

They say;

Deterra London is a London based startup company specialising in handmade concrete planters, plant setups, homewares and cut class terrariums. They also offer broad range of airplant setups. Their planters are carefully hand crafted in East London and ingredients are sourced from companies using only sustainable technology. We found this great workshop with London Craft Club in central London. Enjoy 2 hours creating your own essential oil which you will then use to scent a candle & purfume.

Our guest expert teacher Alice Scott, from Scott’s Apothecary, trained as a nutritional therapist and is hugely passionate about creating natural, eco-friendly candles, beauty products, and cleaning products. She is incredibly knowledgable about the properties and benefits of the different essential oils, and full of tips on how to incorporate essential oils into your daily routine

Worth catching before it ends in July, this Portmeirion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum runs til the 28th.

With a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Sainsbury’s, The Design Museum, London has put on a playful display showcasing graphic design from their products in the 60’s & 70’s.

This exhibition explores how these designs influenced customers shopping behaviour, then and now.

A fascinating insight into a commercial business, being the first self service store in the UK. Understandably the focus for customers was on the nice packaging!
