In case you missed out last time, we’ve spotted another chance to catch the great ‘working with Jesmonite’ workshop with the London Craft Club.

There’s one tonight but there’s another on July 3rd!

They say;

Get ready to meet your new favourite material, Jesmonite. What is Jesmonite I hear you ask? Well it’s a cross between concrete and resin, that can be coloured and used to create awesome effects like terrazzo and marbling. Intrigued? Then read on…

In this introduction to working with Jesmonite you will learn all about this amazing material from our expert Haidee. She will discuss different applications for Jesmonite, and tell you about the different effects you can achieve. Then you’ll make a mould for your trinket dish – choose from a triangle, diamond, or hexagonal shape for your final piece.

Haidee will then show you how to mix your Jesmonite, how to colour it, and you will be able to cast your very own geometric trinket dish! It’s such an amazing material to work with, we know you are going to want to go home and make more pieces for everyone you know! You’ll leave with a finished Jesmonite trinket dish, plus all the knowledge and skills needed to make lots more.
