We will always encourage vintage and secondhand shopping as a way to look after the environment and to give goods a new purpose and a second life, rather than just being discarded.

The Goods In General Store has such a veritable feast of vintage delight to fill your home, it was hard to pick a favourite – but we love the victorian stoneware pots that would be great for vases, just for display on shelf, or as pot for utensils.

Everything in my shop has a story and I like it to be authentic or original. Learning the history of who made and used these objects fascinates me. I also do my best to find, fix and pass things on.
