Found on the historic Roman Road, East London we find Corey Homeware. Opened in 2015,this boutique homeware and furniture store has a lovely, constantly changing curated selection of pieces sourced from the UK and further a field.

We love their eye for unique pieces with both a modern and industrial edge.

They say, ‘The idea behind the shop is to offer a treasure trove of modern design at realistic prices. I am a local resident with a passion for interiors. Originally working as a teacher, I spent years being frustrated at the lack of affordable homeware. Each weekend would see a trip to seek out interior shops across the capital only to be disappointed by the choice and shocked by the price. I felt so strongly about it that I decided to put my passion into practice and open my own homeware shop right on my doorstep.’

Beautiful Copenhagen based brand, Ferm Living, have spent a decade producing and designing incredible homewares and furniture. Their clean, minimal, elegant design silhouette so identifiable to their name is highly admired and ergo regularly seen to be tried to be imitated and copied by other brands. The level of quality and materials is never achieved though. The lines are never as clean, and the colour tones never as pure.

Signature pieces that have influenced other people to design similar

Ferm Living is unique. This design comes with a price tag but these are pieces to invest in and collated well in home will result in beautiful interiors.

The design, colours and styles are well thought out and considered, with an obvious nod towards their Scandinavian heritage, a touch retro but most of all – every piece is like art, with great craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Excitedly we wait to see what 2017 brings for this brand.
