home: nice price [ industrial light ]
AnotherHomeBlog favourite, Labour & Wait have this beauty of a light shade. Both industrial style and sparkly, we love this enamel lampshade with the white speckled pattern at just £58.
This enamel lampshade is especially made for us by Riess in Austria, and is a replica of the vintage shades which were fitted in our first shop. This classic design was originally used in workshops, garages and industrial buildings.
home: found this [ Anna Hayman ]
Print designer Anna Hayman creates beautiful 60s & 70s patterns through turning original linocuts into wallpapers, fabric and art prints. These gorgeous patterns are particularly stunning on her range of lamp shades.
Anna has now collaborated with illustrator Beth Faser to create these A3 character piece aet prints. There are four designs in the collection and we love them.
‘I wanted to create some fashion style illustrations incorporating my patterns and when I was introduced to Beth, I knew she was the perfect partner for the project with her bold and louche style. She cleverly mixes ink painting with paper collage to create these languid characters, I think the style combines with my prints really well, and I love the feel of these super laid back girls’

We have a bit of an obsession with lighting, and why wouldn’t we when there is such a great choice available online and in stores. Habitat has just launched a load of new arrivals including this Quad light and we think it’s pretty cool. The striking architectural design will work best in a modern monochrome inspired living room, kitchen or office.
