To bring interest and a bit of a unique edge to your interiors, it’s great to browse antique fairs and vintage markets for furniture, ceramics, lighting and accessories.

With over 300 stalls under one roof the Alexandra Palace Antiques and Vintage fair attracts people from across London and the surrounding area because of its wealth of choice and quality in shopping.

With Pop Up Vintage Fairs also now being a part of the event there’s even more stall holders offering midcentury, retro and vintage goods – so on-trend and what’s better than modern copies – the originals!

The next event is Sunday February 12th and then three more times spread across the year. Parking is free and entry is £6 but there’s often ways to get 2-for-1 entry, especially if you follow Pop Up Vintage Fairs on Facebook

With the weather improving and warmer days coming – it’s time to get back into outdoor market shopping.

Our favourite, and everyone’s favourite worst kept secret, is the incredible Sunbury Antiques Market which has had its home, for now 37 years, at the vast Kempton Park Racecourse. This epic, endless land, houses over 700 outdoor and indoor stalls with furniture, accessories and paraphernalia up for sale. Every era, style, taste and price range is covered here. Design is loving pineapples right now. They feature in pattern, fabric, accessories, even jewellery.

We love this H&M gold (on trend!) pineapple that contains a candle. So once you burn the candle, you have a great little storage pot for trinkets.

Only £9.99

Have a look round the rest of the H&M Tropical Appeal trend collection to see their other pineapple pieces as well as homewares featuring palm trees, monkeys and bananas!

For more pineapple appreciation head to interiors and homeware brand SS Thomas who have pineapple candle sticks, fruit bowls, tumblers and glasses!
