There’s a gorgeous colour effect to bring into your home – ombre.
This beautiful colour haze can be introduced to a current colour scheme if you match the colour.
To create the ombre look pick one or two pieces eg. Cushions and curtains, in an ombre pattern fabric and then colour the rest of the interior in block colours of shades of the ombre tone.
If you’re feeling bold use ombre for a wall paper – a strong look – then collate other homewares in the same colour – this rich look would look great if using one of the popular jewel tones; currently an on trend colour palette that’s across homeware stores on the high street and online.

We have found some great tutorials to help you create a statement piece for your room, at the same time being practical. Once you have the basic design worked out then you can choose your material or colour to finish the look. Perhaps it’s copper tube that’s takes your fancy or how about a a pole hanging on leather straps.
