With a new season on its way brings new arrivals in store. A brand that stands out is Habitat, with its large range of totally new products for SS17. A highlight is their tableware and especially the Elzora range. The white and brown finish creates a slick modern rustic look. It’s an ideal range to buy a bit at a time and build it up gradually. The beautiful finish is down to a hand dipped salt glazing process, which meand no two pieces are alike.

Available as a 12 piece set [ £70 ], and as individual pieces [ from £6 ]

Ikea continually manages to have exciting collaborations and ranges, always at great prices. The new SPRIDD collection is no exception. Ikea has joined forces with British fashion designer Kit Neale to create a range of home accessories all with Kits statement bold colours and print, starting from £2.

Our favourite pieces are these cushion covers. Mix and match the designs to bring a fresh new season look to a room. We love the vibrance and fun these cushions bring. See the full SPRIDD collection at ikea.com

There is nothing better than cosying up in front of the television with a hot drink, dimmed lights and a scented candle burning, watching your favourite boxset.

The Danish ritual of enjoying simple pleasures Hygge has taken over this year and we have all embraced it, especially at this time of the year.

Rose and Grey have also been championing this trend and created the perfect selection of Hygge gifts on their site. Head to roseandgrey.co.uk to be inspired and get hold of some last minute presents.

There are some gorgeous hand painted items available at the moment, from floral plates to polka dot mugs. The idea is so simple it’s worth giving it a go yourself.

Get hold of some basic white tableware [ try Ikea ] and then decide what look you want to achieve. Go monochrome and use a black pen to create a dot or stripe effect, or bring colour using paints [ dishwasher safe ] to make swirls, floral designs or a geometric pattern. Be as creative as you want, whatever works within your home.
