Continuing from last year we are seeing more and more shades of green in homeware. Not only paint colours but furniture and accessories.

Sage is the colour for Spring and we are seeing it everywhere. It’s a calming shade and works in any room. Accessorise with soft furnishings and ornaments for a more subtle look or go full on with painted walls or wallpaper.

We love it’s understated tone and it brings freshness and wellbeing to a space. Shop the high street and online for an array of choice.

When you try and find that perfect colour bedding that you’ve imagined in your head, that matches your walls or will compliment your interiors but just can’t find it; that slightly off white, that perfect pink, that earthy rust tone or even a good neutral flesh tone – head to Midnatt and we are sure you’ll fall in love with every shade.

Available online from their store but also from UK stockists including Cissywears – based in London and also online.

They say ;

Midnatt (or Midnight) is a newly established Swedish brand that makes bedding for children and adults in crisp, organic cotton. A washed-out favorite shirt and a country-side duvet cover that was added for several generations was the starting shot for Midnight’s first collection.

Our ambition is to always give your bed a contemporary look where colors and patterns can be combined just the way you want. Colored underlays and pillowcases sold separately make it easy for you to complete and update the bed with what you already have.

Our stew-washed finish gives the sheets a beautiful structure with preserved softness and the cotton’s ecological is for us an all natural starting point.

IKEA has always been a company to push design ideas and bring fun into our homes. A new collection designed with fashion stylist Bea Akerlund may just be their boldest yet, where a heavy gothic vibe meets Alice in Wonderland.

Omedelbar is a limited edition collection launching in March and is expected to be a hit. The collection consists of vases, accessories, furniture and soft furnishings in bold black, red and gold.

Look out for top hat and boot vases, a crown bowl, lip shaped cushion and a giant pocket watch wall clock.

We can’t wait to see it in the flesh.

Influences from around the world, travels to exotic places, exploring far and wide – bring them all into home styling for the ‘traveller’ trend. Mixing block printed patterns with woven textures, baskets and ornaments that could have been picked up from the little streets of Marrakesh or the markets of Delhi, unique pieces that embrace another culture or way of life – all come together to create a rich interior.

Colours are rich and vibrant. Hand dyed fabrics and hand woven accessories sit on warm tone wood furniture like walnut or mango.
